A collab so nice, we wanted to do it twice. After a succesful first joint venture in 2021, we're thrilled to present our new collaboration with Antwerp-based eyewear brand Komono.
The capsule collection consists of three styles; the Hioco 73, the Robertus 67 and the Walther 76. Each style is available in three different colors. Designed by the Eat Dust team together with the Komono specialists, these sunglasses all share a timeless, yet modern feel and a rebellious, sturdy twist. Everything was made in Italy, from the finest responsibly sourced acetate. All glasses come with a protective, branded Komono x Eat Dust cases and a cleaning cloth.
For those unfamiliar, Komono is a brand dedicated to creating affordable and accessible accessories (mainly sunglasses and watches, but more than that too), in their own radical and distinct style. Founded in 2009 by ex-pro snowboarders Anton Janssens & Raf Maes, their history and DNA strongly resembles ours, so a collaboration between both brands only makes sense.
Here's an overview of the whole collection:
THE HIOCO 73
A robust pair of sunnies that is present without being overly so. A simple and gracious design in a classic style, easy to wear.
THE WALTHER 76
A lot of style, a lot of attitude. The Walther was inspired by one of Aline's favorite sunglasses that she lost while on holiday years ago.
THE ROBERTUS 67
Never one to settle for easy, the Robertus is an atypical design that oozes 70s retro vibes, while still retaining a modern, young energy.
