AVANT • The Foundations of Heritage Style
Avant Magazine is a biannual publication founded by Eric Maggiori that feels more like a conversation with fashion history than a traditional magazine. Rooted in a deep appreciation for clothing heritage, it looks back at the way garments were made, worn, and lived in across different eras, connecting those stories to the present day.
Each issue moves easily between editorial fashion, photography, and cultural reflection, always with a strong sense of storytelling at its core. Rather than chasing trends, Avant slows things down, focusing on craftsmanship, fabric, and the timeless character of well-made clothes. There’s a clear respect for the past woven through every page, whether it’s workwear, tailoring, or the evolution of everyday dress. This makes the magazine feel grounded and personal, almost like flipping through a carefully kept archive. At the same time, it stays fresh and contemporary, with a strong visual language that keeps each issue engaging and relevant.
We’re happy to share that we now stock all issues of Avant, both in-store and online.
Each copy invites you to explore fashion with a bit more depth, at your own pace, and in your own way.
